Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be any mess?
The process itself creates very little mess but it is important to protect your property. We take great care to protect your property using dust sheets under each radiator and placing the pump in a bund, when ever possible we will use the pump outdoors.
Do you have insurance?
Yes we have £2m insurance cover. Please ask to see the certificate.
How long will it take?
Depending on the size of the system between 5 and 8 hours. We always try to arrange a convenient time often arriving early in the morning if you need to be at work.
Do the radiators need taking off?
No there is no need to remove the radiators, sometimes valves may need replacing. We always carry a stock of valves and can carry out the work on site if needed.
The system is very old will it be ok?
Before doing any work on your system we will inspect it and tell you of any possible problems. If we feel that there would be no benefit or the system is simply to far gone then we will not carry out the work, it is not in our interests to carry out work that will cause you problems and further costs.
Which products do you use?
We use Kamco pumps and chemicals, they are a market leader and all there products have been produced for specific types of systems and boilers, it is important to use the correct products for each type of job, despite what some people may tell you there is not an all in one product on the market.
Why are you cheaper than most other company's?
Simple, by keeping our overheads to a minimum and our profit margins lower we are able to offer great value for money. We take great pride in what we do and believe that we offer a service that is as good if not better than many of the larger company's that are charging 2 to 3 times our costs. Also our costs start at a 5 radiator system ( typical 2 bed house) where as most other company's start at 7 or 8 radiators ( 3 to 4 bed house).
My boiler is aluminium?
This does not cause any problems as long as the correct chemicals are used, we always check for compatibility before we carry out any work.
